Café Chorégraphique is a unique opportunity for artists to present new choreographic work and to receive feedback from an invited audience of peer artists, venue managers and representatives from arts and dance organisations.

Café Chorégraphique is open to artists at all stages of their careers. Previous participants include Keira Martin, Detta Howe,  Rajyashree Ramamurthi, Cathy Seago, Claire Gammon, Augusto Corrieri, Urja Desai, Lîla Dance, Charlie Ranken and Chay Burrows and Christopher Reynolds from Udifydance.

Charlie Ashwell performed a new piece for the first time at Café Chorégraphique 2009:

" I could feel it growing just by having people there to see it!"

Taking Part

This year's event is on Saturday 4 September 2010 at The Point, Eastleigh and is open to emerging and established choreographers who are from or currently working in the south east region. If you are interested in being considered please download and complete the proposal form.
