We are working in partnership with Hampshire County Council to support Hampshire-based dance artists committed to developing their careers in dance.
The scheme will provide two Associate Artists with awards of £1000. The Associate Artists will be supported to create an individual programme tailored to their own training and development needs. They will also have the opportunity to deliver or coordinate a small project or event as part of Hampshire Dance’s 2010-11 programme.
The scheme will run from October 2010 until July 2011. It would suit artists who work in any dance style and can demonstrate their commitment to developing their particular field of dance practice eg: as a performer, choreographer, teacher or dance manager. It would be suitable for an artist early in their career, or could benefit a more experienced artist.
To apply please complete the application form and equal opportunities form and return to Hampshire County Council by Wednesday 1 September.
