Hampshire Dance has devised and delivered Community Dance Leaders - a five-day course aimed at giving an all round understanding of the skills required to lead dance in the community. The course is full of relevant and useful information embedded within both practical and theoretical sessions.

What does it involve?

The course includes units on:

• How to prepare and manage a community project
• Inspiration for creative learning
• An injection of tried and tested workshop ideas for working with a wide range of community groups
• How to incorporate safe practice, integrated learning, equal opportunities and child protection policies into your work

The whole course provides a great opportunity to network and learn from other dance leaders and share good practice.
